Mehraj Malik Profile: Counting of votes for the 2024 assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir has been completed. The National Conference and Congress alliance has got a majority in the assembly elections held on 90 seats. The NC and Congress alliance got 42 seats, BJP got 29 seats, PDP got 3 seats, People’s Conference got one seat, CPI (M) got one seat and Aam Aadmi Party also got one seat.
At the same time, independent candidates have won on seven seats. In Jammu and Kashmir, Aam Aadmi Party’s account has been opened from Doda assembly seat.
