Baramulla, July 29:
The residential house of Abdul Ghaffar Dar was completely burnt to ashes in a massive fire after an alleged gas leak from an LPG cylinder in the Pahilharan area, a few kilometers from Baramulla city, on Wednesday. According to local sources, the fire suddenly erupted after a gas leak from the cylinder, causing chaos in the area. The fire quickly engulfed the entire house and the house was completely burnt down.
As soon as the information was received, teams of fire and emergency services reached the spot and immediately started relief and rescue operations. The fire was brought under control after hard work, but by then the house had suffered heavy damage.
However, the house and its contents have been heavily damaged. The police and the concerned authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation. A detailed investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
