Srinagar, November 23:
Police seized immovable property belonging to a terrorist in Awantipora. A police spokesperson said the seized property belonged to Mubashir Ahmad.
Ahmad who is associated with the terrorist organization Jammu and Kashmir National Oppression (JKNOP).
The organization operates from PoK and is believed to be involved in promoting terrorist activities in the Valley.
Mubashir Ahmed, a resident of Syedabad Pastuna in Tral, is accused of aiding terrorists. During interrogation, it was revealed that the terrorist used to send weapons and ammunition to the area to activate local networks.
In a bid to curb the narco-terror ecosystem in the district, the police on Saturday seized immovable properties worth Rs 60 lakh. It belongs to drug smuggler Sajjad Hussain Shah, son of Sarfaraz Hussain Shah, resident of village Potha, Tehsil Surankote.
The police seized the property in village Potha.
The accused is a habitual criminal and has been involved in several NDPS cases.
