Mahant Rohit Shastri appeal to LG and Head of TTD Trust for opening Sanskrit Gurukul in Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Jammu

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), one of the country’s richest independent trusts that manages the famous Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, will build its first ever temple in Jammu,The Bhoomi pooja ceremony of shri Venkateswara swamy Temple by Trumla Tripathi Devasthanams will be organised at Majeen Jammu on 13/06/2021. The TTD infrastructure will be an attraction for the pilgrims and tourists in addition to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine and the Amarnathji shrine. “It will enable tourists to come and stay longer in Jammu city and will also contribute to economic growth of the region,” he added. As per press statement issued to mercury times, on occasion Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan trust president Mahant Rohit Shastri welcome this decision taken by Jammu kashmir LG Manoj Sinha and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust. Mahant Rohit Shastri said that j&k is the land of temples and on this sacred land many renowned poet born here Abhinavgupt, Kalhana, Bilhana and many more Sanskrit poet belong to this sacred land.
As these renowned personalities belonged to Sanskrit field, now in present situation of J&K is not satisfactory as there are lack of Sanskrit gurukuls as of many Sanskrit students are in dilemma what they can do in their future. Mahant Rohit shastri send letter to LG Shri Manoj sinha, Chief Chief secretary J&k and Chairman Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust Sh.Y.V Subba Reddy that if they will establish the Sanskrit gurukuls in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Mandir jammu, it’s been great step taken in the field of Sanskrit language. Jammu is renowned as the city of temples but here the students belong to Sanskrit field get lesser facilities and opportunities for their future. So, for the upliftment of Sanskrit language, necessary steps should be taken for opening number of Sanskrit gurukuls in J&K.
