JAMMU, Jan 25:
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha gave warm congratulations to all officers and members of Jammu and Kashmir Police who received the Medal for Gallantry, the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, and the Medal for Meritorious Service during Republic Day 2026.
In a post on X, the LG also gave congratulations to those in the Jammu and Kashmir Correctional Service who got the Medal for Meritorious Service. He mentioned that the nation greatly respects the courage, dedication and professionalism of J&K Police and praised how they always stay committed to their duty.
LG Manoj Sinha stated that the bravery and strong moral principles of the police force still stand as a symbol of honour for the country and shared his hope that their great service will encourage those who come after them.
