Jammu, August 21:
22-year-old Mandeep Singh Chishoti repeatedly visits the place near Budh Nala, where his mother Tulsi Devi used to sell maize bread and vegetables to devotees to feed herself and his family.
He is unable to express his pain. He stutters while crying that who will understand me now, whom will I tell my story to. She left me and went away. She had asked me to return home. If I had not listened to her then maybe she would have been saved. I went home and got saved, but she was swept away. Budh Nala meets Chenab after going some distance.
A devastating flood following a cloudburst in Chishoti on the afternoon of August 14 caused heavy loss of life and property. So far 68 people have died in this disaster, more than 100 are injured and the exact number of missing people is not being confirmed. The administration claims that the number of missing people is around 70, while many people say it is more.
