Jammu, February 13:
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) J&K unit has demanded probe and immediate recovery of Rs 400 crore loan given to Adani by J&K Bank.
In a statement issued to mercury times, state chief Manish Sahni while addressing the media persons at the party centre office in Jammu today , Said that in Hindenburg report many allegations have been made on the Adani Group regarding fraudulent transactions, manipulation of shares, including loans, for which the Adani Group is in controversies outside and inside the House.
The public is worried and confused by the government silence on this matter. Sahni said that Adani Group has taken a loan of 400 crores from Jammu Kashmir Bank. He further said that the self-employed youth of Jammu and Kashmir are wandering for employment, local people are made to go through hundreds of rounds for getting loan for small scale industries. But Adani Group is given a loan of 400 crores in one stroke for its business outside Jammu and Kashmir. Sahni said that the hard-earned money of the poor and common people of the state is deposited in the Jammu and Kashmir Bank. Which is being served decorated in a plate to the suit-boot people. Except BJP, almost all parties are demanding discussion and investigation on the allegations against Adani in the House. Crores of rupees of common and poor people are at stake. Sahni has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and bank management to take immediate action and provide mental relief to the public by taking back the loan of Rs 400 crore from the Adani Group.
