Jammu, September 23:
Tilak Raj, a resident of the Miran Sahib area, accidentally crossed the Pakistani border, where he was arrested and imprisoned by the Pakistani government. When Tilak Raj returned to India after 16 years in prison, his brothers seized all his property. Tilak Raj said his parents also passed away while he was serving his sentence in Pakistan.
Tilak Raj submitted a complaint to SDM RS Pura, Anuradha Thakur, seeking justice and reclaiming his property from his brothers. Upon receiving the complaint, the SDM issued instructions to the relevant officials of the Revenue Department. They were instructed to issue a domicile certificate for Tilak Raj based on his ancestral records and provide other necessary services. They were also assured that legal action would be taken against his brothers. This move has increased Tilak Raj’s hopes of obtaining justice for his rights and property.
