The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Friday conducted raids in Srinagar and Ganderbal districts of central Kashmir. It is as part of its investigation into a white-collar terror module.
During the raids, digital devices and documents were seized and taken for investigation. However, the SIA has not issued a formal statement regarding this.
Official sources said the SIA carried out early morning raids in Srinagar and Ganderbal districts. It includes at the house of Tufel Bhat in Diyarwani in the Batmaloo area of ​​the city. They said Bhat was arrested from there on November 22 by the SIA in connection with a white-collar terror module case.
Meanwhile, officials said raids were also conducted in Wakura, Ganderbal district. The raid was conducted at the home of Zameer Ahangar. Sources suggest Ahangar’s brother is suspected of having links to the Delhi bombings. However, this has not yet been confirmed. They said the raids were part of the SIA’s investigation into the case, which was carried out in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF.
