Jammu, September 16:
In a political development amidst the assembly election activities in Jammu and Kashmir, the brother of the state Congress working president Raman Bhalla has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with his supporters. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy welcomed the new workers into the party and said in a press conference at the party headquarters that the victory of the BJP is very important to save Jammu and Kashmir.
Confirming BJP national president JP Nadda’s visit to Jammu on September 20, he said that he will take part in a roadshow in the city. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that for BJP, elections are not limited to just electing MLAs. BJP’s victory is necessary for the future, brotherhood, peace and security of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the press conference, he welcomed Raman Bhalla’s brother Vinod Bhalla, former Block Development Council President Dilip Kumar and their supporters into the BJP. On this occasion, many senior party leaders including State BJP Working President Sat Sharma, Jammu MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP candidate from RS Pura-Jammu South Dr Narendra Singh were present at the BJP Media Center in Jammu. Along with Vinod Bhalla, many former Sarpanchs and Panchs also joined the BJP. Chief Spokesperson Advocate Sunil Sethi and Media Incharge Dr Pradeep Mahotra were also present on this occasion.
Welcoming the new workers into the party, Reddy said that a lot of changes have taken place in the state in the ten years of Modi government. From building infrastructure to public welfare schemes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took revolutionary and bold steps on the front of peace and security. Due to these, the Bharatiya Janata Party has become everyone’s favourite party today.
