Today, 31 October 2024 is the 40th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The woman Prime Minister of India and the Iron Lady of the country. Indira Gandhi, known for her steely resolve, was assassinated by her bodyguards on the morning of 31 October 1984. Indira Gandhi took charge of the country between 1966 to 1977 and three times in a row and then from 1980-1984.
On the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Jammu and Kashmir Congress President Tariq Hameed Karra said that today is the death anniversary of former PM Indira Gandhi, this day is a lesson of sacrifice for us. Indira Gandhi laid the foundation of brotherhood between Hindus and Muslims.
