Srinagar, August 25:
Security agencies have launched a major search operation in the area after an encounter between security forces and suspected terrorists in Turina area of Uri sector on Sunday.
The security forces had received information about suspicious activities in the area. During this, firing took place from both sides for a while. After which the terrorists fled towards the dense forest.
After the firing, the army, police and other security agencies have cordoned off the entire area. They have started a search operation. The forest and surrounding areas are being searched with the help of drones and sniffer dogs.
