Jammu Kashmir Election Result: Farooq Abdullah hits back at PM Modi, says ‘Who is spreading hatred in Jammu’?

Srinagar, October 9:

National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah has reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on the Congress party. He said, did the Congress give birth to hatred in Jammu? Did the Home Minister come, did the Prime Minister come, or did many of his ministers come to spread hatred? We have never supported terrorism and will never do so.

Farooq Abdullah also expressed concern over the issue of 5 nominated MLAs in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. He said, this is not possible under the Indian Constitution. The government that comes to power nominates the MLAs. If this is done, we will approach the Supreme Court and we hope that the Supreme Court will hear our appeal according to the Constitution and provide us justice.

Through this statement, Abdullah has clarified his party’s position and emphasized the need to protect political instability and constitutional values. He expressed hope that the court will pay attention to their demands and take an appropriate decision.
