Srinagar, July 29:
The Jammu and Kashmir International Film Festival (IFFJK)-2026, which is being held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir. It has shown tremendous enthusiasm and interest from filmmakers from all over the world.
So far, 875 film entries have been received from about 50 countries. The large number of entries received has given a new recognition to this ambitious initiative of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir at the international level.
The process of sending entries for the film festival will continue till July 30. After this, the selection process will begin.
The festival, jointly organized by the Department of Information and Public Relations and the National Film Development Corporation. It will be held from September 7 to 10.
Entries from nearly 50 countries will give an international dimension to the festival.
