J&K: ‘Neither we like BJP nor they like us; it is our responsibility to work together with the Centre’, Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, February 26:

The Chief Minister said that we have been in power for four months. Our vision will be in the first budget, our mark will be visible in it. I will tell in the assembly what my government did and what it did not do in four months. He said that I did not think that Mirwaiz would get security from the Centre. The situation has changed and improved.

The Chief Minister said in a TV channel program, the Lieutenant Governor’s statement that for the first time campaigning took place in the Assembly till 11 pm is wrong. I have campaigned at night in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections. There is a huge possibility of border tourism in Jammu. The people of Jammu and Kashmir cannot have a single thinking. The Chief Minister said that terrorist attacks have decreased. However, terrorism has increased in the Jammu division, which was not there in our time.

On India Block, he said that we should contest assembly elections along with Lok Sabha elections. He said that the merger of Jammu and Kashmir. The conditions fixed for the merger are the same for us. One cannot increase or decrease the other. No one has been able to tell yet for which arrangement 370 was removed.

The Chief Minister said that there is a big difference between working with the Center and accepting the politics of BJP. Some people feel that if we are working with the Center, then we are with them. Neither BJP likes NC nor NC likes BJP. It is our responsibility to work with the Center for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. There is a huge difference between a Union Territory and a State. It takes time to understand and explain this.
