Jammu, June 13:
Jammu Province People’s Forum (JPPF) in a program organized to pay tributes/homage to departed souls due to COVID-19 globally demands to re impose lockdown immediately for minimum period of 21 days. While talking to media persons Mr M S Katoch (Working President, JPPF) said it is unfortunate and painful that we have lost more than 4lacs people as per reports available and more than 75 lacs lives are severely affected globally. In Bharat only more than 4 lacs peoples are badly affected and more than ten thousand people have left for heavenly aboard, the situation in Delhi and Maharashtra is beyond control, hospitals are over loaded and unable to take fresh cases on one hand and mortuaries are also beyond control on the other, moreover health care professionals have done commendable job by providing best possible healthcare facilities even putting their own lives in danger, but if we realize the actual situation it is really alarming. Therefore under these circumstances we request administration to please review the situation and let us try to minimize the effect by imposing lockdown once again, Mr Katoch further added that the we understand that lockdown if imposed will affect business but let all of us decide the essentiality, because it seems year 2020 is not for making profits but to protect lives of own and others as it is nicely said by Sh Ratan Tataji “let this year’s profit be your life”, so be serious save yourself and others.
Further all members paid rich tributes to the souls left this planet due to COVID-19 by lighting candles at Maharaja Hari Singh Ji Statute.
