Helicopter service started from Jammu to Vaishno Devi Dham

Jammu, June 25:

Helicopter service has started directly from Jammu Airport to Mata Vaishno Devi Dham. The first flight took off on Tuesday. Two helicopters from Jammu Airport landed at Panchi Helipad of Mata Vaishno Devi Dham. Nine devotees reached for Mata’s darshan in these two helicopters.

CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Anshul Garg and other officials welcomed the devotees. They were presented with Mata’s Chunari as a gift. He said that Panchhi helipad, which is located at a lower height compared to Sanjhi Chhat, will be less affected by bad weather.

The helicopter service is more beneficial for those pilgrims who want to return after visiting the Mata in one day. This helicopter service will save the time of the devotees.

Devotees can book the helicopter service through Shrine Board website http://maavaishnodevi.org and avail the facilities being provided with it.

The Shrine Board has just launched two packages for Vaishno Devi Dham from Jammu. The first package is for Rs 35,000 per person, in which the return will be on the same day.

The second package is for Rs 60,000 per person, in which the return will be on the next day.
