Jammu, March 13:
The Home Ministry has returned the proposal to prosecute IAS officers Yash Mudgal, Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary and Neeraj Kumar in the gun license scam. The Home Ministry has informed the High Court about this.
The ministry has ordered the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir to send a fresh proposal against the three IAS officers within a week. The Home Ministry has asked to attach certified copies of the FIR along with DVDs, statements of witnesses, recovery memo, investigation report including summary, draft sanction order, written statement of defence from the accused officer and specific comments of the investigating officer to refute their arguments etc. in the proposal. The Home Ministry has informed the High Court about this.
