Government Degree College Padder Celebrates International Yoga Day

In commemoration of International Yoga Day, Government Degree College Padder organized a rejuvenating yoga session within the college premises. The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Principal Dr. Anwar Shah, with the participation of dedicated staff members and enthusiastic students.
The yoga session encompassed a range of physical postures and meditation techniques, which were skilfully demonstrated by Dr. Jewan Dhar, a prominent Associate Professor . Dr. Dhar emphasized the importance of yoga, stating, “Yoga unites our mind, body, and soul, promoting holistic development in individuals. It plays a pivotal role in fostering physical, mental, and spiritual growth.”
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the college community, as students and staff members alike attended the session with great fervour and dedication. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie and enthusiasm, as participants embraced the essence of yoga and its numerous benefits.
