BJP OBC Morcha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on historic decision of 27% reservation to OBCs and 10% reservation to EWS in All India Medical/Dental Courses in a Press Conference held at BJP Head quarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu .
Braham Jyot Satti (President BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT), Rashpal Verma (National Secretary BJP OBC Morcha), Rajkumar Tarkhan (General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT), Sunil Prajapati (Publicity Secretary BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT) , Adv. Lokesh (Executive Member BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT) were present on the occasion.
In a statement issued to mercury times, Braham Jyot said BJP OBC Morcha welcomes the Central Government’s historic decision of 27% to OBCs and 10% to EWS section in all India Medical / Dental Courses, This historic decision is landmark and it will provide better opportunities to OBCs in under graduate and post graduates medical courses like MBBS, BDS, MDS, MS etc.
He said PM Modi ji is working tirelessly for the upliftment of backward classes, Recently 27 ministers from OBC Community were included in cabinet and now this decision of reservation is landmark. It will provide benefit to thousands of OBC medical aspirants for bright and better future in medical departments.
He said Central Government is running lot of schemes for OBC Students like Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship, Hostel for OBC Students, Assistance for Skill development, National Fellowship , 27% reservation in admission in Sainik school, Navodhya Vidhyalayas and K.V Schools , these schemes are highly beneficial .
He lashed out on opposition and said from past 70 years OBCs and EWS section has been ignored and exploited by Congress and its allied Parties which is highly Shameful and cannot be tolerable. He said opposition parties has exploited OBC people just for political benefit but BJP is only political party who is giving actual benefit to OBCs.
Rashpaul Verma while expressing gratitude to Narendra Modi government for granting reservation to OBCs in Medical and Dental courses said that only BJP has truly fulfilled the expectations of OBCs. He also thanked Modi govt. for 27 OBCs Ministers in the Union. He further briefed various schemes of Central Government which are available for OBCs only and he said lots of schemes are waiting and will be implemented shortly.
Verma further thanked PM Narendra Modi for this historic decision and said BJP is the only political party who is working for public.
