Such news is becoming very viral on social media that the RBI has given a new opportunity to exchange the old 500 and 1000 notes. This news is completely false. On November 8, 2016, the Indian government suddenly banned the old notes of 500 and 1000 rupees to eliminate corruption.
After which for some time people were given time to exchange their old notes from banks. Due to which long queues of note changers started in banks. Explain that the new notes were implemented by the Government of India. Since then, there have been many reports that 500 and 1000 rupee notes will be exchanged again, while the RBI has not made any new rule to replace these old notes.
