Establish telemedicine in places where health facilities are less, cancel the attachment of doctors as well, Health Minister

Jammu, July 10:
Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo has directed the officials to establish tele medicine facilities in Budhal and Surankot where health facilities are less.
He asked to make life saving medicines available in adequate quantity at these places as it will reduce the chances of death during referral. She gave these directions while chairing a meeting at the Civil Secretariat.
Taking a strong note of the shortage of specialist doctors, the Health Minister directed the Health Secretary and Health Director to immediately cancel all attachments and deploy them at their designated places. He also asked for deployment of specialist doctors on roster basis in the health centres of these constituencies to improve health services in these areas.
