Jammu, August 2:
Friday was a day of great excitement for the devotees visiting Maa Vaishno Devi. On one hand, the battery car service was continuously available to the devotees. While on the other hand, the helicopter service was also available to the devotees for about 3 hours in the morning. The devotees took advantage of both these facilities during the journey.
However, after some time the helicopter service had to be suspended due to the gathering of clouds on Trikuta Mountain. But on the other hand, the ropeway and car service continued to be available to the devotees to pay their respects at the feet of Baba Bhairavnath. The devotees are completing their journey to Maa Vaishno Devi by reaching Bhairav Valley and paying their respects at the feet of Baba Bhairavnath.
Friday was a mixed day, although on one hand there was a continuous gathering of clouds on Trikuta Mountain, on the other hand the sky remained overcast. However, at times the Sun God’s attitude was harsh, due to which the devotees had to face humidity during the Vaishno Devi Yatra. All the routes to Maa Vaishno Devi are completely smooth.
On August 1, 24,000 devotees paid their obeisance at the feet of Maa Vaishno Devi, while on August 2, i.e. Friday, till 1 pm, about 12,300 devotees had registered themselves and left for the darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
