Shravan Purnima holds special importance in Sanatan Dharma. Regarding Shravan Purnima, Mahant Rohit Shastri, head of Shri kailakh jyotish avim Vedic Sanathan trustĀ  Trust, told that Shravan month is of 59 days this year, so this year in the month of Sawan, 2 purnimaĀ  and 2 Amavasya were formed. This year the second (sudh) Shravan Purnima Tithi will start at 10.59 am on Wednesday, 30th August and will end at 07.06 am on the next day i.e. Thursday, 31st August. Shravan Ratri Purnima Vrat will be on 30th August Wednesday and Diva Purnima Vrat will be on 31st August Thursday. With this, Shravan Chandramanas will end on 31st August Thursday. Every year the festival of Raksha Bandhan is celebrated on the day of Shravan Purnima. Shravan Purnima Tithi is starting at 10.59 am on 30th August Wednesday, which will remain till 07.06 am on 31st August Thursday. But as soon as the Sawan Purnima Tithi starts, Bhadra is also starting which will start from 10.59 am on Wednesday, 30th August and will end at 09.03 pm on the same day. The scriptures say that the festival of Rakhi should not be celebrated during the Bhadra period. If you want to tie rakhi on 30th August Wednesday then you can tie rakhi after 9:04 pm on 30th August Wednesday night. Suryodaya Vyapini Shravan Purnima Tithi is Thursday, 31st August, Thursday 31st August, tying rakhi between 05.36 am to 7.06 am on the same day will increase wealth and fortune. Sanskrit Day is also celebrated on the day of Shravan Purnima, it will be celebrated on Thursday, 31 August. On the day of Shravan Purnima, one must worship Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati, Mother Sharde, the goddess of learning, Shri Satyanarayan Ji, Lord Moon in the form of Lord Vishnu and it is very auspicious to read or listen to the story of Lord Shri Satyanarayan Ji. On Shravan Purnima one should have darshan of Chandradev and by offering arghya mixed with milk, Ganges water, Pushya and Akshat to Chandradev, the economic problems coming in life go away, on this day, to get the blessings of Chandradev, his mantra is ‘Om Shran Shreen Shran Sah Chandramse Namah’. ‘ Or ‘Om Son Somay Namah’ must be chanted. Devs, sages and ancestors are also offered on the day of Shravan Purnima. Bathing in the holy rivers and lakes on the full moon day is of special importance and must donate as much as possible to the needy people around the house, by doing this the blessings of Lord Vishnu are received. . According to the scriptures, no kind of vindictive things should be consumed on this day, celibacy should be followed, alcohol etc. should also be avoided on this day. It can have side effects not only on the body but also on your future, sattvic things are consumed on this day.
