Dogra youth for restoration of statehood, constitutional safeguards for entire J&K

Jammu, Nov 8: Members of Dogra Youth under the supervision of political activist, Partap Singh Jamwal Sunday staged a protest demonstration against the Modi government for its wrong and anti-people policies pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir.
During the protest, which was orgnised by Bhanu Partap Singh Goria alongwith Arun Mehra, Nikhil Sharma, the Dogra youth demanded restrotration of statehood for J&K.
Aggressive activists also raised slogans “Eko Gaal Mananni ay Statehood Bapis lani hai”, ” “Aasy ghar ghar gaal pajani hai ay Statehood bapis leni ay”, “Eko Aapakh jagani hai Statehood Bapis leni ay”.
Addressing the Media, Partap Singh Jamwal said that they welcomed the decision of scraping of Articles 370 and 35 A, but downgrading of Jammu and Kashmir to union Territory is not acceptable”.
He alleged that the Union Government has not taken into consideration the sentiments of people of J&K and leaders of J&K while preparing the architecture of Jammu and Kashmir.
Partap Singh said that The position of J&K people who are the founder of the State and have sacrificed their life to create this state have not given due respect and regard.

Bhanu Partap said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are angry about it and are fervently demanding restoration of statehood as well as adequate constitutional safeguards for the protection of jobs and land rights.

Bhanu said “It is for the first time that a state has been downgraded to a UT and then bifurcated. The people here are angry, they are worried about their jobs and their land. if the people from outside get the jobs here, what will locals do. They had rights over their jobs and land, but have been deprived of that now.

They demanded immediate restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood and adequate constitutional safeguards for the protection of jobs and land rights for the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
