Jammu August 12:
Today in a joint Press Conference by Sarpanches of different panchayats from Block Bhalwal nominates Sarpanch Keran Bantalab Dharminder Singh Manhas as there President of Association.
Dharminder Singh Manhas, newly nominated President of Sarpanch Association of Block Bhalwal thanx all the Sarpanches and Panches of his Block and promise them that he will work for the betterment of the society and for the better ment of the whole block and will stands with all the Sarpanches at every situation.
Dharminder further added that Block Bhalwal discriminated at every sphere by administration and there are so many problems faced by locals of Block Bhalwal beacuse 90% of the area of Block is unirrigated and therefore there is so many problems faced by peoples of water crises and there is no such arrangements been done by administration for to fight woth this situation as no new ponds were constructed, no new tube wells been constructed and nothing else.
Dharminder further added that Sarpanches were elected by the locals and through proper elections but now in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir central govt. declares many times that full powers gave to Sarpanches and Panches but groud reality is that no power been given to the panches and Sarpanches and no suggestions been taken from Panches and sarpanches for policy development of panchayats.
Dharminder further added that i promise to all Sarpanches and Panches that i will fight for the right cause of all the panchayat and for the betterment of the every panchayat of Block Bhalwal. And futher request administration for to involve Sarpanches and panches in various policy which were made for the development of the Panchayats.
In the meeting of Sarpanches of Block Bhalwal, Dharminder Singh nominates as President of the Block Bhalwal Sarpanches Association, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal as Senior Vice President, Vikram Sharma as Vice President, Naresh Jamwal as Gen. Secretary, Rajni Devi as Secretary, Hari Saran as Secretary, Pawan Singh Salathia Media Secretray, Joginder Singh Langeh as Cashier.
Others who were present are Naseeb Singh, Aman Banotra, Rekha Rani, Er. Pallavi Verma, Naseem Fatima, Dr. Shallu Sharma, Mohd. Amin, Jaswant Singh, Rekha Devi, Santosh Kumari and Many others.
