A steady increase is being seen in the cases of corona in Jammu and Kashmir. After seven months in Jammu and Kashmir, more than fifty cases of corona have been registered in twenty four hours. Covid infection was confirmed in a total of 58 patients on Thursday. With this, the number of infected patients has crossed two hundred so far.
According to the data received from the Health Department, 35 of the cases reported on Thursday came from Kashmir division and 23 from Jammu division. Of the patients who came from Jammu division, 12 came from Jammu, four from Samba, two from Ramban district. And one patient each came from Udhampur, Kathua, Rajouri, Samba and Poonch districts. Similarly, in Kashmir division, 14 cases were reported from Srinagar, seven from Budgam, six from Kulgam, three from Pulwama, two from Baramulla, two from Bandipora and one from Shopian. Ten patients also recovered during the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir. Now the number of active patients has increased to 238.
Earlier, the number of patients was more in the month of September. But in the beginning of April itself, the patients of Covid are increasing continuously. However, health department officials say that people should not panic. Follow Covid appropriate behaviour. He says that the investigation has been increased to find out the patients of Covid. 3116 patients were screened on Thursday. He says that all hospitals already have arrangements to deal with Covid.
