Jammu, August 4:
On the completion of six years of abolition of Article 370 on August 5, Congress will observe Black Day on Tuesday. It is on the issue of snatching the rights of the people if the state status of Jammu and Kashmir is not restored.
State head Tariq Hameed Kara says that on this day the status of Dogra state was reduced. It was made a union territory. Our rights have been snatched away, Kara added.
Party leaders and workers will sit on dharna in Maharaja Hari Singh Park. The party has been running the ‘Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq’ campaign for a long time.
In the second phase of the campaign, hunger strikes will be held from 9th August to 20th August. Party’s chief spokesperson Ravindra Sharma said that a protest will be held in Srinagar. This protest will held under the leadership of state head Tariq Hameed Karra.
Pradesh Congress Committee Working President and former minister Raman Bhalla on Monday announced that the movement for restoration of full statehood.
