Charri Yatra leaves for Sukrala Mata

The 23rd annual Chadi Yatra, which was taken out for the prosperity and peace of Jammu and Kashmir, left for the darshan of Mata Sukrala. State BJP President Ravinder Raina flagged off the Yatra from Vaishno Mata Mandir Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. Many dignitaries were present on the occasion besides Municipal Mayor Chandra Mohan.

The yatra was led by Mahant Lucky Baba. The devotees who had left for the yatra left for the yatra with full enthusiasm while performing bhajan kirtan. The yatra started at 8 am on Saturday and reached Bhagwati Nagar Tawi Bridge in the presence of around 400 devotees. Meanwhile, the satsang continued in the temple. Speaking on the occasion, Raina expressed hope that this religious pilgrimage would be a smooth and successful one. He appealed to the people to use the religious events to promote peace, brotherhood and communal harmony in the society. Mahant Lucky Baba prayed and blessed everyone with a long life and also wished that the journey be prosperous.
