BJP’s Women Cadre Celebrates India’s G20 Presidency by Making Rangolis, Hoisting Tricolour

Jammu, January 16:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha on Monday celebrated India’s G20 presidency in a buoyant manner by making and Hoisting Tricolour. As per party sources directions have been given to the workers to make Rangolis of the G20 logo in front of their houses on January 15-16.
In a statement issued to mercury times, similar events were organized in Jammu and Punjab. Updesh Andotra, National Executive Member of BJP Mahila Morcha and in-charge of Punjab along with Punjab’s President BJP Mahila Morcha, Meenu Sethi took out extensive tour of several areas of Punjab and organized programs including Rangolis with G20 logo, apply henna in palms of women, sharing placards with slogans were presented.
Speaking on the occasion, Andotra said that G20 presidency is a matter of pride for entirea dn Mahila Morcha decided to celebrate it in a big way.
“Along with making Rangolis at home, they should make logos in groups at public places like markets, temples and parks. This will give more prominence to the event. The idea is to generate awareness about the event,” she said.
The initiative will bring women from every community together. Some prominent women, too, have been invited to the programme.
BJP Mahila Morcha units of all the states of the country also celebrates this festival of G20 in their respective states and give this message to the whole world that through this G20 summit, India will be able to tell about the economic system, environment and health of its country.
