Jammu, October 6:
A programme was organized in District Samba by BJP Jammu & Kashmir Mahila Morcha under the leadership of Morcha President Sanjita Dogra in presence of BJP District President Amar Singh.
Morcha Prabhari District Samba Prerna Nanda, Seh-Prabhari Arti Jasrotia, District President Mahila Morcha Samba Sonia Thakur holds a meeting with Office Bearers of District Samba Mahila Morcha including District team ,Mandal Presidents and General Secretaries of the District were also present.
Sanjita Dogra discussed about various central government programmes like Sukanya Samridhi Yojna in the programme.
Sanjita Dogra said that every Morcha member must adopt one girl child from poor family and physically challenged girls and open an account in her name. She added that Sukanya Samriddhi Account can be opened any time after the birth of a girl child till she turns 10, where you will have to deposit a minimum of Rs 250 and to keep the account active, a minimum contribution of Rs 250 is mandatory in each financial year (and in multiples of Rs 100 thereafter). Maximum investment allowed per annum under the sukanya samridhi yojna is establishing 1.5 lakhs up to the end of the 15th year from the opening of the account. She added that the account can be opened in any post office or authorized branches of commercial banks and further said that this deposited money will help the girl child during their education and marriage and asked to Mahila Shakti to be a depositor on behalf of a minor girl child of whom she is the guardian. Matr Shakti showed positive response and agreed to take this central based scheme between the people to aware who have girl child.
Sanjita Dogra said that the focus of each and every women worker of BJP should be at their respective booths to make the organization strong. She stated that she slogan of “One Booth Ten Youth “must be followed just like it was done at the time of Lok Sabha Elections. She added that the Nari Shakti cadre is the strength of BJP and that is why BJP party is different from other political parties and due to the dedicated, sincere and Vigorous efforts of ‘Matr Shakti’.
District President Amar Singh said that there is a vast array of State and the Central Government Schemes which have the specific objective of promoting women’s health, education and empowerment. Each of these schemes needs to be effectively implemented if the cause of women is to be promoted. He praised BJP Mahila Morcha for their appreciable works in the mass. Prerna Nanda said that a great participation by the women folk in the political activities will prove to be catalyst in the development of the Nation. She said that the Matr Shakti have to carry on their work up to the level of booth to make sure that their dedication must be appreciated by the common masses. She said that the PM Narendra Modi led NDA Government is working hard for bringing out positive changes in the women education and their overall development as it is committed to welfare of women. She termed women- champions of change. This unique convention was graced by women of substance from different fields who have brought about a significant change in the society.
District President Mahila Morcha Sonia Thakur also spoke on the occasion.
At the end, Sanjita Dogra met with the Mahila Sarpanches and Panches of District Samba.
Prominent among those who were present include Rama Khajuria, Parveen Lata, Santosh Bhagat and others.
