Jammu, August 10:
The residents of Bhagwati Nagar ward No. 14, today hold a protest demonstration under the leadership of Bhannu Partap Singh Goria against the Jammu Municipal Corporation and other agencies concerned for their failure to maintain lanes and drains in the area. Addressing the media, Bhanu said that the poor lane and drainage system are worst condition of their street.
He said that the lane of said ward is in dilapidated condition while the drainage system is also pathetic. He said that we are living in worst conditions due to problem of lane and drains.
Bhanu added that the JMC and concerned corporatore was well aware of the problem, but took no steps to repair the lane.
Bhanu appealed to UT administration to intervene and direct the agencies concerned and to repair the lane and drain at the earliest.
Other who were present including Kanta Devi, Sagar Sharma, Supriya Chouhan, Kanchan Sharma, Kanta Gupta, Soma Sharma,Bina Devi, Ramesh Sangra, Ajay Mehra etc.
