Jammu Police is conducting surprise checkpoints in the city to nab traffic violators and suspicious people.
Some two-wheeler riders try to break the barricade. They are putting their lives at risk, which sometimes proves fatal for them.
Often, drivers without helmets, three people sitting on a two-wheeler or those without adequate documents try to escape by breaking the barrier.
In the process, they lose control and fall along with the vehicle in a hurry. Due to which there is a possibility of them getting seriously injured.
The Nawabad police were checking the documents of vehicles by stopping them during a check post at Dogra Chowk. During this time, some youths on motorcycles reached the check post violating traffic rules.
To avoid police action, these drivers tried to flee from there. Two youths riding a motorcycle lost control and fell on the road. Fortunately, they did not get hurt.
