Kathua/Bani, April 27:
The Bani-Basohli main road in Kathua district will remain closed for traffic till May 6. District Magistrate Rajesh Sharma said in the new order issued on Monday that the VVIP in Bani will open only on April 28 and 29 due to the CM’s visit.
After that it will remain closed till May 6 due to the ongoing upgradation work of the route. It may be noted that due to heavy landslides for the last two weeks.
The road was being obstructed for traffic in Tikri near Bhund which is now undergoing upgradation work.
Due to which the said route is being closed for traffic from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm every day. In view of the ongoing work, the administration has asked the passengers to plan their journey in this way.
