B2V phase 3, Back to Village programme held at Panchyat Bharakh of Tehsil Pouni in District Reasi

B2V phase 3, Back to Village programme was also held at Panchyat Bharakh of Tehsil Pouni in District Reasi from 7 to 9 October.
Representatives of 09 wards of the Panchayat raised their respective issues and the burning issues raised by all the representatives , the public in general and Sarpanch of the panchyat Sardar Jaspal Singh were the irregulariity of water supply , road connectivity , opening of J&K Bank Branch at Bharakh , Postal services . providing of transformer in ward no. 01,02 and 07. The public also demanded construction of a sports stadium at Ward 06 where about 40 kanals of state land is lying uncovered . The grievances related to MGNREGA and release of funds were also raised by elderly people before the visiting Officer in the Gramsabha and after directions from the visiting officer , B.D.O. Pouni assured on spot that grievances raised will be addressed soon.
Visiting Officer Sunil Sharma, Pvt Sec. to CCF on first day of programme visited different institutes including PHC , Angarwari Centre , Panchyat Ghar , seed store and various spots in different wards that needs immediate concern. Ward Sabha was held in Gurdwara at Ward no. 01.
On the second day , sports activities were held . Volley ball and football matches were played in the play ground of GHSS, Bharakh. Awards were distributed to the players. Visiting Officer handed over sports kit to the Sarpanch of the panchyat and focused on the importance of spors and games.
On the concluding day, Mahila-Sabha and Bal-Sabha were held where Asha works , Angarwari workers and those from Selp help groups discussed the importance of different govt. schemes for the women. The visiting officer while interacting with the children and small kids focused on the importance of discipline , learning process and also delivered some rejuvenating moral lectures. Later visiting Officer Sh. Sunil Sharma inaugurated newly rennovated rooms of GHSS school Bharakh constructed under B2V 1.
He also inaugurated construction of Shamshan ghat with allied work at Bharakh and construction of Bowli at Bain Mohalla in ward no. 02 under 14th FC scheme in the presence of Sarpanch, panches and locals.
Among other govt. representatives , Secretary Panchyat Bharakh Deepak Bangotra, Nodal Officer Panchyat Bharakh , Tilak Raj and Liaison Officer Forests, Arvind Bargotra also assisted the Visiting Officer in the smooth functioning of the programme.
All the representatives of the Panchyat and public in general showed zeal in the programme and also appreciated the creative and enthusiastic way of the visiting officer with which he managed the whole programme and invited him to visit the Panchyat again.
