A case has been registered at Gandhinagar police station regarding forced marriage and attempted kidnapping of a girl.
The sister of the victim hails from Bhatapara in Chhattisgarh and currently lives in Sector-1 of Chhanni Himmat, has lodged a case in this regard.
The victim’s sister told the police that she and her sister work in a school in Shastri Nagar. Around 2 pm on Saturday, Ibrahim Khan, a resident of Maratha Mohalla in Trikuta Nagar, arrived at the school. He forcefully tried to take her 20-year-old sister with him.
He has threatened to kill her sister and her family.
