Attack on Bihar Police: Criminals now attack ASI in the capital; Chief’s brother accused

Patna, March 15:
After Araria and Munger, now unbridled criminals have attacked a policeman in the capital. ASI Vivek Kumar has been seriously injured in this incident. The incident took place in Khaspur area of Maner police station area. The continuous incidents of attack on police in Bihar have raised questions about the increasing crime in the state.
The police say that ASI Vivek Kumar was on patrol on Saturday evening. As soon as he reached a tea stall, some miscreants were sitting there. Vivek Kumar asked the miscreants to remove the crowd from the shop. After which some of them started arguing with Vivek Kumar. The matter escalated and then the miscreants attacked the ASI. After the attack, he immediately informed his fellow policemen. After this, a police team reached the spot and started action against the attackers. Vivek Kumar was injured in this attack.

Police say that one of the attackers was the brother of the local Mukhiya. According to the locals, this attack was done due to some personal rivalry. However, the police have started investigating the whole matter.

A case has been registered against the accused in the police station. (Agencies)
