Ashutosh Gangal inspects the Ludhiana-Dhuri-Rajpura-Ambala Cantt section

Ashutosh Gangal, General Manager, Northern Railway today took stock of the progressive development works at stations located on Ludhiana – Dhuri – Rajpura – Ambala Cantt. Section.
 The area of Ambala Division of Northern Railway is spread over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.  Ambala Division operates passenger trains and goods trains in a protected, safe and well-planned manner with punctuality.  Necessary policies on various progressive railway projects, development works, modernization of passenger facilities, implementation of latest railway systems and other important points of the division.  Today on 12/03/22, the General Manager of Northern Railway Shri Ashutosh Gangal along with the officers of Headquarter, *Divisional Railway Manager Ambala Shri Gurinder Mohan Singh* and other officers of the Division of Ludhiana– Dhuri – Rajpura – Ambala Cantt Railway Division, conducted a window trailing inspection & while doing window trailing, taking information about other stations and progressive development works on this section, reviewed it and expected to complete all these works on the prescribed time limit based on prescribed parameters.
 General Manager Northern Railway, Shri Ashutosh Gangal inspected the level crossing C-11 which is situated between Gill to Kila Raipur. After that he inspected the station yard and railway colony by the General Manager at Ahmedgarh station.  General Manager Northern Railway, Shri Ashutosh Gangal also done tree plantation at Ahmedgarh station.
 The team of the General Manager took stock of the passenger facilities available at Malerkotla station as well as cleanliness and other basic facilities and also inspected the parcel office.  General Manager inspected the Girder span of bridge number 118 A between Malerkotla – Himmatana section along with all its safety-related fittings and maintenance etc.  He also inspected Curve No. 05, LWR (Long Welded Rail) on same section and interacted with employees of Gang No. 6 and took their feedback on their work.
 Further General Manager inspected the passenger facilities like waiting room, parcel management system and circulating area available at Dhuri Railway Station.  He also taken keen interest in the exhibition of small track machine at the station, inspected the running room for guards, loco pilots, and other facilities.  The General Manager checked all its safety-related fittings and maintenance etc. on Major Bridge No. 129 between Chhintanwala – Nabha section.
 The team of General Manager inspected the facilities like waiting room, parcel office, booking office and circulating area at Patiala station and took stock of the passenger facilities available here as well as cleanliness and other basic facilities. General Manager interacted with public representatives at Patiala station. General Manager also inaugurated the newly developed Parcel Management System at Patiala, which will encourage the local trade and will bring enhanced features in parcel system. At last, he inspected the Kauli station. There was a speedy Trial run at 120 Kmph between Shambhu – Ambala section, he found that this section is smooth and comfortable due to staff maintenance.  He encouraged the maintenance team by giving them cash prizes.
He met the staff, recognized union’s and association at Ambala Cantt station and listened to their problems and suggestions, as well as he also established a dialogue with the media personnel in the press conference here.
