Jammu, August 25:
The Directorate of School Education Jammu has ordered all government and private schools in Jammu division to remain closed till Tuesday, August 26 due to bad weather.
Director School Education Dr. Naseem Javed Chaudhary said that the decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of the students.
Earlier, a decision was taken to keep the schools closed on Monday as well. Looking at the weather, the schools were closed after incidents of cloudburst.
After remaining normal for a few days. Heavy rains again lashed the state, especially the Jammu division, on Sunday, disrupting normal life. Due to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, flood-like situation has arisen in many places.
