Aditi Sharma Chairperson Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT) and senior Political Activist said that her aim and object is not to oppose or criticize any political party for the sake of opposition but when we assess the ground reality and the non performance of the previous governments of JKUT we are Constrained to highlight their misdeeds in the interest of the people of J&K.
A few days before Aditi Sharma personally along with her team had an extensive tour of some under developed districts and areas of Kashmir which includes Kupwara and Tangmarg to assess the developmental progress in these areas.
Aditi Sharma said having open interaction both with men and women there she felt perturbed and got shocked when they narrated their woes and their sufferings at the hands of previous regimes.
The people while expressing their miseries and plight said that as I’ll luck would have it that we trusted and believed NC leaders for the last near about 70 years but the innocent people of J&K never knew that they were befooling us for their personal gains and swelling their purses by way of highest corruption and by misusing Article 370 as a tool during elections.
They were never bothered about the welfare of people or development and employment.
They only developed the concept of Pakistan in our minds during elections.
Some People during interaction said that the people after their sufferings from NC rule wanted a change for better and gave a chance to PDP a newly created party, but to our bad luck their leaders befooled the people of Kashmir by raising the slogan of self Rule and own currency for some time till their stability and talked against BJP, but they created this drama just to win elections and to come in power later on PDP made an alliance with BJP and fulfill their dream to attain power.
The majority of right thinking people said that there is no doubt that J&K UT gets all the best possible help from the center with huge financial aid and funds for development but it never goes in a right direction because of highest corruption and poverty continues in J&K.
The alliance of BJP and PDP was a political blunder brought disaster in J&K and crossed all the limits and looted the UT.
Aditi Sharma Chairperson Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT) after listening people’s grievances said in dismay and with heavy heart that one has to agree and accept the views of the people because only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches.
Aditi Sharma said during her open interaction with the valley people it was found that the common people have no regrets for abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A as it has only landed them in poverty.
These articles were in the interest of our so called leaders.
The people said JKUT status should continue for some time more till our previous leaders come to senses and will eradicate high level corruption and end of family rule.
The people want development, employment health care.
There should be CBI probe for Genocide of Kashmiri Pandits who are in distress.
Aditi Sharma added that the educated youth who have availed education loan from banks are under pressure from the banks and want only wavier of interest and reasonable time for liquidation and those who have gone for OTS scheme before lockdown should be given a reasonable time and there should be no time bar for them as they have failed to implement the scheme because of Covid 19.
