A tragic road accident in Kupwara district on Wednesday left the entire area in mourning, police said.
A six-year-old girl was killed when a dumper rammed into her in Kupwara district on Wednesday, police said. An official said that the accident took place when the dumper with number JK02CR-6027 hit the six-year-old girl. The girl suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.
The deceased girl has been identified as Habasa Ishaq (6), daughter of Mohammad Ishaq Shaikh, a resident of Wodhpora, Khurmabad in Kupwara.
