District Police Kathua once again acting tough against the illegal activities of bovine smugglers within the district, rescued 08 bovines in the JD of Police station Rajbagh.
A police team of P/S Rajbagh while on patrolling duty at Khanpur noticed that some unknown persons were taken the bovines by foot. On seeing Police Party from a distance, the persons managed to fled away and left behind 08 bovines which were presumably being taken without a legal permission and were rescued on spot. Accordingly a case FIR 71/2021 U/S 188/IPC Act has been registered in Police Station Rajbagh and further investigation has been started.
People of the area appreciated the action of Kathua Police.
