Arnia, October 12:
Shiv Sena Hindustan today highlight the plight of farmers in border areas who have suffered losses due to recent rain and strong winds.
Jammu and Kashmir President Pt Rajesh Kesri held a press briefing in Arnia wherein he said farmers in border areas of RS Pura, Arnia, and Vishnaw have suffered significant losses due to rain and strong winds.
Shiv Sena Hindustan demands that the government conduct a thorough assessment of the damage and provide compensation to the affected farmers.
The recent rain and strong winds have damaged crops, particularly rice, in the border areas, leaving farmers with significant losses. The damage to crops has added to the financial burden of farmers, who have taken loans to cultivate their crops.
Kesri demanded government should conduct an immediate assessment of the damage caused to crops. The government should provide compensation to the affected farmers. The government should educate farmers about crop insurance and provide them with necessary support to avail its benefits.
