Srinagar, November 1:
Since the cabinet expansion of the Omar government, the feud in the National Conference (NC) does not seem to stop. The next 48 hours are considered challenging for the NC. The political steps of the angry MLAs seem to be moving rapidly here and there.
Ruholla is adamant on his resignation on November 3. Mubarak Gul Char is determined to break the silence and expose the internal situation of the party. Speculations of a third front are also getting air amid fears of a split in the party.
Meanwhile, considering Ruhullah’s resignation from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat as final. The NC organization has also started brainstorming on making Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather a candidate from here.
The reasons for the resentment of both are of course different, but due to this, the party is facing an internal crisis. On the one hand, there is ideological dissatisfaction and on the other hand, there is the question of the role and representation of senior leaders in the party. Ruhullah is angry over Article 370, constitutional rights of Jammu and Kashmir and election promises of the NC.
Ruhullah has said that after November 3, he will hold talks with like-minded political people. He has not ruled out the possibility of a new political platform.
