Demand for flowers increased on Diwali, will the hard work of farmers this time bring good profits?

Akhnoor, October 31:
As the holy festival of Diwali approaches, the demand for flowers has started increasing. In such a situation, the hope of good income is also visible on the faces of the farmers cultivating flowers. Farmer Bansi Lal says that he is hopeful that this time on the occasion of Diwali, the prices of flowers will be better, so that they can get proper results of their hard work and they will get good profits.

Farmer Bansi Lal said that he has cultivated different varieties of flowers in his fields. With the increase in demand for flowers during festivals, farmers expect to get good prices. He said that the biggest problem in floriculture comes when there are different types of diseases in the crops. Many times farmers do not have the right information about the disease, due to which they buy medicines by consulting shopkeepers in the market. However, sometimes the medicines do not have the proper effect.

He appealed to the officials of the Agriculture Department to reach the villages and farms from time to time and make the farmers aware about floriculture, diseases in crops and their proper treatment. If agricultural experts guide the farmers at the right time, they can get a lot of benefits.

Farmer Bansi Lal says that farmers work day and night to cultivate flowers. In such a situation, it is very important for them to get a fair price for their produce on the occasion of festivals. He expressed hope that this Diwali, flowers will get good prices so that the hard work of the farmers pays off and their families also get financial benefits.
