UDA urges LG to make necessary arrangements for treatment of Black Fungus

After Corona pandemic now as another major health problem of ‘Black Fungus’ has become an issue of concern among the health experts during this pandemic, said Convenor, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Jammu and Kashmir, Rajiv Mahajan.
He asked Lt Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha to take strict cognizance of the first case of ‘Black Fungus’ in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and direct the officers concerned to make necessary arrangements for its treatment at the earliest so that this ‘Black Fungus’ will not spread like Coronavirus in the UT.
As per press statement issued to mercury times, Rajiv Mahajan also urged the LG Administration to take first case seriously and immediately call meeting of experts to investigate it’s causes to avoid panic among people of Jammu.
He sought immediate attention of concerned and appealed them to take needful steps at the earliest before it becomes more severe than COVID-19 pandemic.
Saying that the government’s priority is to break the chain of virus spread for which collective efforts need to be taken to save precious human lives, Rajiv Mahajan urged LG Manoj Sinha to halt all others development works and call upon all Advisors and officials of the UT to improve health infrastructure to control of spread of coronovirus and Black Fungus in the J&K to help out patients in the hour of crisis and save precious lives.
He appealed general public to remain extra alert and be careful regarding black fungus.
