Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, security has been tightened at Jehangir Chowk in Srinagar.
Multiple layers of security arrangements have been implemented around the stadium, in which JKP and BSF personnel have been deployed at important places.
Security forces are carrying out intensive checks and checking of people entering and entering the area.
Authorities are keeping a strict vigil. The security arrangements have been beefed up to ensure smooth and safe conduct of the Independence Day celebrations.
