A flash landslide on Sunday morning in Narsoo Nala area of Chinani on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. It caused heavy damage to the local market. Many shops and structures had already been weakened due to heavy rains in the region on August 26.
On Sunday morning, strange noises were suddenly heard from behind the market.
Due to which the people present in the market were alerted and came out of their shops. A few minutes later, there was a landslide with a loud noise and the debris fell directly towards the market. Fortunately, people came out in time, which did not cause loss of life, but there was serious damage to the shops.
Shahwaz, who runs a sweet shop in the local market, said that there was damage due to rain in the past, but this time the incident has shaken the entire market. The walls and roofs of many shops have collapsed, and a lot of goods are also buried under the rubble.
