Criminal incidents in Jammu are now increasing day by day, due to which the security system of the police is also being questioned. This is also being seen during the last few days.
Just a day ago, a case of burning a person alive in the fields near the ring road near the village Kotli Mian Fateh was reported. The police investigation of that case was not yet completed.
Last night in Langotia, some unknown people attacked a young man of the village with sharp weapons and cut off his right hand and took it with them.
After carrying out the incident, the attackers escaped from the spot. Seeing the injured covered in blood, the villagers informed the police.
The police reached the spot and reached the GMC for treatment. The injured was identified as Kulbir Bhagat, son of Bhushan Lal, resident of Langotia.
According to the information, the injured Kulbir Bhagat is also a notorious miscreant. He was detained by the police in 2024 under the PSA. He came out of jail just a few months ago. Several cases are registered against him under various sections at Police Station Arnia Police Station RS Pura.
He has been involved as the main accused in these cases and was also evading his arrest. It is being told that his rival group has attacked him and seriously injured him.
The police have registered a case and intensified raids to identify and arrest the accused involved in this case. Police have registered a case and the attackers will be nabbed soon, police in-charge Azad Manhas said.
