Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, stated that Shri Hanuman ji Janmotsav will be observed on April 6, 2023.
This year, the Chaitra Purnima Tithi will begin at 09.20 a.m. on April 5 and conclude at 10.05 a.m. on April 6. Shri Hanuman ji Janmotsav is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the Hindu month Chaitra. Shri Hanuman Janmotsav is observed in some locations on the fifteenth day of the dark fortnight in the Hindu month Kartik.
According to Shastri, “Shri Hanuman ji Janmotsav, the Param Bhakt of Shri Rama is on this day.”
He said that according to Hindu mythology, Lord Hanuman was Lord Shiva’s eleventh form and is said to have learned all four Vedas during his youth.
Mahant Rohit Shastri appealed all to celebrate Lord Shri Hanumanji janmotsav at home and perform Puja and Archan of Bhagwan Shri Hanuman Ji.
